公民教育意見調查2004

Another piece of research work undertaken by the Centre for Civil Society and Governance (in collaboration with Policy 21) at HKU (the following is a quote from MingPao instant news - reported today). 逾七成港人以中國人自豪[15:34]

公民教育委員會的調查顯示，有73%受訪市民以作為中國人自豪，但同意學校每天升國旗的只有38%。

委員會委託香港大學政策二十一及公民社會與治理研究中心，在去年十月至十二月期間以面對面形式，隨機抽樣訪問了1,054名15至69歲本港居民，回應率為70.2%。

公民教育委會主席香灼璣表示，香港回歸中國雖然只有8年時間，但香港市民整體的國民意識及國家自豪感相當高，實在難得。

香灼璣指出，調查研究顯示，香港市民對何謂不愛國行為的看法傾向開明。此外，香港社會具有頗高的世界公民意識，很支持一些國際社會上普遍認同的價值觀，如人權、平等機會、民主等。這充分反映出香港市民的國民意識，是建基於香港作為一個多元、自由和開放的社會的基本價值。
